Get Messy with Mono-print!
Field trips are always exciting, especially when we get a request for a great big group of kids who are looking to learn about my favourite medium - print-making!
We had the joy of having 40 keen print-makers into the studio last week to explore mono-printing and the history of propaganda art. We got super messy and produced an unbelievable amount of prints, with each child taking home their very own series of artworks. We looked into positive, negative and collage layering techniques to get everyone inspired. We even had a few Christmas themed works!
