

Painting Picasso!
This New Year has started off with a bang! We have been getting up to some fun fieldtrip adventures with visiting schools. Our art project themes have been focusing on different places around the world. I had the chance to create Spain-inspired artwork with a wonderful group of visiting students. We chose to make Picasso inspired statues using his painting and previous work as reference. Each student was encouraged to work from his or her own reflection but make the resulting


New Year - New Everything!
With the new year, comes new everything! Over the holidays, our studio space went through some transformative renovations. All the noise and moving was worth it, as now we have more studio space to use for art classes and fun events. I was so excited to start working in our new space last week. Celebrate Tet!
Tet is the occasion for Vietnamese to express their respect and remembrance for their ancestors while coming together to welcome the New Year with their beloved family members.
